What does You-VO do?

Greet your visitors  Do you let your visitors and customers arrive at your business and totally ignore them?

Improve your website Some people think that they need to re-do their website before considering You-VO.   Just the opposite is true.  You-VO improves your website with your presence.  You are the important element of your business, not a picture of some professional model.
Command attention Just think of the items that catch your attention in your daily life.  You may be casually watching the local news when you see a friend or neighbor appear.  Do you turn away or is your interest piqued?  You-VO has the same result.

One author (David Meerman Scott, "The New Rules of Marketing and PR") suggests that there are four ways to generate attention in today's environment:

  • Buy advertising, such as television, billboards, Yellow Pages, etc.
  • Get attention by contacting editorial gatekeepers for news content, etc.
  • Generate attention a person at a time through the use of a sales team.
  • Earn attention online by good content and current technology.
2 types of visitors 1. Those who came to your site specifically.  (Most likely previous visitors or customers.)

2.  Those who happened upon your site while looking for something. (Perhaps a service or product you offer.)

In both cases you are looking for an action on the part of the visitor.

For your customers, you want them to use your services in an ongoing manner. (It costs more to get a new customer than to service an existing.)

For the visitors, you want them to feel welcome and avail themselves of your services.

You-VO accomplishes both objectives.

You-VO creates a personal connection with customers and non-customers alike.

In the final analysis, You-VO provides results!
